Professional soloists, with scores of voices from the UW- Stevens Point Combined Choirs and the CWSO create a powerful sound to present Handel\'s Messiah. This very special holiday program is sure to start your holidays in the spirit!

February 26th and 27th 2011-------------------------------------A Night at the Movies
Saturday Concert: 7:30pm~Sunday Concert: 4:00pm
Learn the role of musical scores as film music scholar and CWSO cellist Lawrence Leviton of the UWSP Department of Music narrates clips from blockbusters Twilight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars and more!*

April 16th and 17th 2011-------------------------------------Celestial Bodies
Saturday Concert: 7:30pm~Sunday Concert: 4:00pm
Peter Thomas, formerly of Stevens Point and now cellist with the Milwaukee Symphony, performs Saint Saens\' Cello Concerto No. 1 in A. Also included in this lush season finale are Mozart\'s Prelude to Apollo and Hyacinthus and The Planets by Gustav Holst.
