endowment funds

Through the generous bequests of two local, long-time symphony friends Liz Parkinson and Dorothy Vetter, in 2002 we were finally able to realize our dream of a permanent fund for our future. So began our CWSO Endowment with the Community Foundation of Portage County. The Community Foundation of Portage County is a public charity established in 1982 and one of more than 600 Community Foundations across the country, which now attracts gifts and bequests, chiefly in the form of permanent endowments.
Just recently, we also began a new Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation of South Wood County. The Foundation is entrusted with the responsibility to enhance the quality of life of the residents of South Wood County.
