CWSO ANNOUNCES ANNUAL MEETING - The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra will hold its Annual Meeting of Members and Board of Directors on Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum 800 Main Street, Stevens Point.  Members are invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages beginning at 6:00 p.m. with program to follow.

CWSO Announces Interim Executive Director - he Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the appointment of Mara Prausa as Interim Executive Director, who will begin her duties on Monday, June 25, and replaces retiring Executive Director Ann Huntoon.

Association of Wisconsin Symphony Orchestras announces scholarship for youth opportunity - The Association of Wisconsin Symphony Orchestras (AWSO) today announced that they are accepting applications for their 2018 Scholarship (http://www.wisconsinorchestras.org/index.php/scholarship).  The AWSO will review hundreds of applications submitted by music students grade 6 and up and Educators who wish to use the money to attend camp, study privately, purchase music supplies, and other musical endeavours.

CWSO Announces Winner of 'So You Think You Can Conduct' Contest -  The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the winner of the fourth annual “So You Think You Can Conduct” contest. Rev. Dr. Clay Schmit, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, will conduct the CWSO in a surprise orchestral work to be revealed at the February 17 and 18 concerts.
