Sue Buck

A leader through times of transition

Invaluable to the CWSO, Sue Buck served on the board of directors for nearly 7 years, first as development chair for the Grand Campaign, and then as board president for 3 years.  During her tenure as board president, she led the CWSO through 2 major transitions: a new executive director and music director.  She organized and headed both search committees and made the search process enjoyable with her positive outlook and thorough preparedness.

Sue and her husband, Jim, have been season ticket holders for 10 years.  She has been especially proud of her involvement with the CWSO because of “the wonderful repertoire that is performed by outstanding musicians. The orchestra is a cultural highlight of the Central Wisconsin region. I am most proud of the community support the CWSO has as evidenced by the Grand Campaign and the excellent educational outreach the CWSO does in local schools and communities.”

The CWSO is grateful for dedicated community leaders like Sue.
